These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Kindred Ledger website and participation in our workshops and membership. By booking a session or using this website, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].

1. Definitions

• "Kindred Ledger", "we", "us", "our" — the business operating at 89 Soi Phra Ram 9 Soi 7, Huai Khwang, Bangkok 10310, Thailand.
• "Services" — the estate organising workshops, document inventory sessions, and Almanac Membership offered by Kindred Ledger.
• "User" / "you" — any person who visits the website, submits an enquiry, or attends a Kindred Ledger session.
• "Content" — all workshop materials, printed documents, frameworks, methodologies, and website content produced by Kindred Ledger.
• "Agreement" — these Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry form, booking a workshop, or joining the Almanac Membership, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement, and accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.

3. Service Description

Kindred Ledger provides general educational workshops and organising support relating to family document management. Our services include:

• Affairs Almanac Workshop — a group or individual educational session on document organisation methodology (฿3,700 per session)
• Chapter-by-Chapter Inventory — a hands-on document organising session producing a reference binder (฿6,800 per session)
• Almanac Membership — 12-month access to monthly workshops, facilitated conversations, and a peer community (฿12,000 per year)

All services are delivered in English, primarily in Bangkok, Thailand. Remote participation options may be available — please enquire at time of booking.

4. Nature of Services — Important Scope Notice

Kindred Ledger provides general education and organising support only. Our facilitators are not lawyers, financial advisers, estate planners, tax professionals, or any other type of regulated professional. Nothing said in a workshop, session, or any Kindred Ledger communication constitutes professional advice of any kind.

Participants are always encouraged to consult appropriately qualified professionals and official bodies for their own individual circumstances. Referrals to relevant professionals are provided as a courtesy — we do not endorse or take responsibility for any third party to whom we refer.

5. User Responsibilities

When using our website or attending our sessions, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information in enquiry forms and at time of booking
• Treat facilitators and fellow participants with courtesy and respect
• Not record, photograph, or share session content without prior written permission from Kindred Ledger
• Not use our services for any unlawful purpose
• Not reproduce or distribute our workshop materials without permission

We reserve the right to ask a participant to leave a session if conduct is disruptive or disrespectful. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.

6. Intellectual Property

All workshop frameworks, printed materials, session structures, website content, and the "Affairs Almanac" methodology are the intellectual property of Kindred Ledger and are protected under Thai copyright law.

Participants are granted a limited, personal, non-commercial licence to use printed materials provided during sessions for their own household organising purposes only. You may not reproduce, sell, or adapt our materials for any other purpose without our express written consent.

7. Payment Terms

• All prices are stated in Thai Baht (THB) and include any applicable taxes
• Payment is required prior to attendance unless otherwise agreed in writing
• Accepted payment methods: Thai bank transfer (PromptPay) and other methods confirmed at time of booking

Cancellation and Refunds

• Cancellations made more than 5 business days before a session: full refund or transfer to another session date
• Cancellations made 2–5 business days before: 50% refund or transfer to another date
• Cancellations made less than 2 business days before: no refund; session transfer at our discretion
• Almanac Membership fees are non-refundable after the first 14 days unless a session has not yet been attended
• If Kindred Ledger cancels a session, a full refund or free rescheduling will be offered

8. Workshop-Specific Terms

• Session times and locations are confirmed by email after booking
• Kindred Ledger reserves the right to reschedule or combine sessions where participant numbers are low, with advance notice
• The Chapter-by-Chapter Inventory session may be split across two appointments by mutual agreement, at no additional charge
• Membership workshops are scheduled monthly; dates are communicated to members at least two weeks in advance
• Participants are responsible for bringing relevant documents to inventory sessions as directed in pre-session instructions

9. Disclaimers

The information provided in Kindred Ledger workshops and on this website is offered for general educational purposes only. We make no representations that the content is complete, current, or suitable for any individual's specific circumstances.

Outcomes from attending our workshops depend entirely on how participants choose to act on the general information shared. Kindred Ledger makes no promise about the results of any individual's participation.

Our website and services are provided on an "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the website will be free from errors or interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Thai law, Kindred Ledger's total liability to you arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific session or service giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of data, income, or opportunity, even if we were advised of the possibility of such losses.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kindred Ledger, its facilitators, and staff from any claims, costs, or damages arising from your misuse of our services, breach of these Terms, or violation of any applicable law.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct that is harmful to other participants or our organisation. You may cancel your Almanac Membership at any time, subject to the refund terms in Section 7.

On termination, all licences granted to you under these Terms will cease immediately. Sections covering disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall first be addressed through good-faith discussion. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok, Thailand.

14. General Provisions

• Entire agreement — these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Kindred Ledger regarding our services.
• Severability — if any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
• Waiver — failure to enforce any right under these Terms does not waive that right.
• Assignment — you may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer our rights to a successor organisation.
• Notices — formal notices to Kindred Ledger should be sent by email to [email protected].

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will change. We will notify Almanac Members of significant changes by email. Continued use of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
